The Sirikulthada family started business with the yarn business by becoming a Polyester texturizing company in Thailand by setting up G. P. Co., Ltd. in Samuth Sakorn on 18th July 1979. The family remained in manufacturing businessuntil the financial crises in Thailand in 1997 lead to a major change in policy of the family. It got out of manufacturing and closed
down the Polyester texturizing business.
