In industry:

- Rubber processing: Acetic acid is the raw material in the process of freezing rubber latex.
Currently, in Vietnam, to produce SVR standard rubber or RSS Sheet Rubber, during freezing or using two types of acid, Acid Formic and Acetic Acid. The amount of Acetic used is often higher than Formic (At the same concentration) so the production cost is higher, but in return, it has the advantage of the stability of Com quality, worker health, and more environmentally friendly.
